Just when I think things can't get any weirder, something just HAS to prove me wrong, doesn't it?

That was really iiiiinteresting.  Gives me a few ideas, but I think I'll keep them to myself.

Hey guys!  Look, lots of people are talking about the whale, others saying no...

 But the way I see it, this is THE perfect opportunity to take out the monster, with little risk to us.

The monster's big, right?  It needs to eat a lot, right?  So, why not poison the whale?  I don't know where we'd get THAT much poison, but we have a whole city, we've gotta find something, right?

Besides, likely, this would be harder for the monster to link to us than, say EXPLOSIONS.

Okay universe, I guess that’s fair.  Being knocked unconscious after an explosion that happened while I was doing something for this community, BUT, being spared getting stepped on by a monster… I guess that’s a fair trade.

Since APPARENTLY, I have to fill a quota of injuries per month or something.

Where has everyone gone?

So… Since this world seems pretty devoid or you know, weapons shops how did people defend themselves in this place?, I plan on going out to the museums to find some new weapons soon.  This pipe just isn’t cutting it.

Um… so, Zuko.  Since we’re kind of stuck here, and you’re apparently Aang’s Firebending teacher… want to come with? I get first pick though.

Aang, Toph, Zuko?  Did any of you guys see it?!  It was HUGE!  Toph, you weren’t kidding about it being the size of a whole bunch of Appas put together! 

Though… there’s something weird.  Aang?  Do you remember that Forest Spirit that kidnapped me for a night?  High-Bah or whatever the thing’s name was?  Maybe it’s just me, but I think the monster looks an awful lot like that thing, when it was angry.  Only even BIGGER, and with a tail.  I hope that this whole monster business isn’t ANOTHER one of those angry spirit scenarios. 

It was the day of black sun back home.  My friends and I were trying to save the uh, our world from the Firelord… but that didn’t go as planned, and to top it off, somehow, I ended up here in this place called Manhattan. And as if that wasn’t great enough, my welcoming party was made up of a group of monstery things people call “crabs” (weird name).I’m glad that Toph is here. I got lucky, and ran into Toph soon after I arrived here.  The others aren’t here though, for better or for worse. 

All of my maps, my food, and my weapons are gone.  Someone must have taken them (and I don’t mean the crabs, Toph!)  I hear that other people arrived without their weapons and such either… but I got to thinking.  If losing your possessions is just an effect of traveling to this world, or, dimension, as Harry put it, then why would we arrive with our clothes?  It seems there shouldn’t be a reason for everything else to vanish.  Maybe, if I’m lucky, my things are back home.  That way, at least Katara and Aang have what other plans I had left.

Apparently Bending and all the rest of that magic stuff doesn’t work so well either.  At first I thought that’d put me at an advantage, since this place doesn’t affect physical abilities… then I got sick.  Along with everyone else. At least I’m not as sick as that one time when we were all caught out in a bad storm. Judging by what I’ve been reading on this thing, anyway, the “crabs” make people sick with a bite… I thought that maybe it was becoming contagious, but then there’s still no explaining why it all happened at once.  This place makes no sense!

To make life even better, it turns out Zuko is here.  I haven’t seen him in person, but he’s here on the journaling network thing… My first thought was that he followed me, but that makes no sense.  Even though he chased us all over the world, he wouldn’t chose to be here any more than I would, and no one seems to know how they arrived, or how to leave. 

However, I’ve met some weird interesting people here… Toph’s friends.  Somehow, she got here six weeks before I did, even though we apparently left at about the same time. Figures she’d start without me. She… was really hurt when I got here.  I’d never seen her get hurt like that… at least it wasn’t as bad as Aang had been… But… Harry said something about traveling dimensions messing up time… That’s just great.  It makes me wonder though, if, no, when we do get back, will any time have passed at all back home?  Or too much time?  Harry’s apparently been through this kind of thing, and knows a lot about this sort of mumbo jumbo.  V… is an interesting guy.  Not sure what to make of him yet (what with the mask and all) but Toph likes him, so… I guess he must be alright.  There was also this Sora guy.  Smiles a lot, talks a lot… and has an interesting weapon.  I think I’d like to see how he uses it sometime.

… I think I might have a plan involving something Harry showed us all, called a “stereo.”  I’ll need Toph’s help on it… But… I don’t feel so great.  I’ll have to write about it later.

I’ve been here a little bit… but, being sick and all, I’ve had time to think.  Mostly at night… A least the moon looks the same here.

A couple of people who are important to me are back home.  And I don’t know if, or when I’ll ever see them again.  I promised Dad I’d take care of Katara.  And… while I know she’s a great Bender… I can’t look after while I’m here.  I can’t keep my word while I’m stuck here… I need to find a way to get back, me, and Toph.
